Leanna MacLean

Leanna MacLean  is a competitive athlete in the sport of Cross-Country Running and Track and Field who proudly represents Nova Scotia and Canada.   She recently was a gold medalist at the Mondo Keien Track & Field meeting in Uden, Netherlands.   Her winning time of 2:04.70 gave her third Athletics Canada carding standard for 2008. 

  She has become active for the Darfur cause by writing to the Canadian parliament to take an active stance toward the genocide in Darfur.
