Moses Lovstad is a 32 year old windsurfer, tri-athlete, runner, swimmer for Denmark. we are excited to have another Dannish athlete on Team Darfur. Moses recently pulled out of this summer's Olympic Games for Windsurfing, citing that:
"I have decided that my Olympic dream stops here and for many reasons. First of all the obvious ones; time and money. But I even with plenty of that I would have had the genes against me. Always having to fight the weight in a very weight sensitive sport. Now that I have had a crack at it I know how hard it is."
He hopes to have a place in the Danish sailing team in the future, and is now using his time to try and fulfill the other sporting goals that he has planned. Meanwhile, he is rallying for various human rights causes such as Darfur.
