Andre is an accomplished speed skater who now does quite a bit of coaching. He has won several National League titles in the junior age classes and has participated in two Junior World Cups and other international events. He has won two silver medals at the J-EM 95 and placed in the top eight in a European Championship. He recently decided to focus more on in-line skating. 

 



Kyle Bunthuwong

If Kyle Bunthuwong's name looks familiar, it may be because his brother, Kyson, is also a Team Darfur member and gymnast at The University of California. Before becoming a Golden Bear, Kyle had already achieved great success in the gymnastics world. He is a four-time Junior Olympic National Champion on parallel bars! He has also competed at the US National Championships. This past February, Kyle, along with five of his teammates at Cal, qualified for the Winter Cup finals. This is a competition where athletes compete for a spot on the US Men's Senior National team. We look for more great achievements from Kyle as he embarks on his sophomore year at Cal.

 



Patricia Miranda

Patricia was the first American women in Olympic history to receive a medal in women's wrestling. She received a bronze medal in the 2004 Athens Games.

Miranda won a silver medal at the at the 2003 World Championships and a gold medal at the 2003 Pan American Games.  

During her senior year at Stanford, Miranda became only the second woman in NCAA history to beat a male opponent in competition.

Doug is a British gymnast who represented the UK at the International Age Group Championships in 2006.

Jerome St. Bernard

Jerome placed second in the 200m and third in the 100m at the Ontario Championships in 2006.

Angel Perkins

Angel attended Baylor University, where she still holds two school records, one for Indoor Distance Medley Relay, and one for Outdoor 4X100 Meter Relay.  In 2004 she finished 13th at the Division II National Championships. Also in 2004 she was All-Pacific 10 and All-Western Region for the 400-Meters. The following year, in 2005, she was All-American and All-Big 12.

Mike Kazmierczak

Mike is an American race walker who qualified for the Olympic trials in 2008. He also won five gold medals at the Empire State Games in 2007.

Mike also finished first in the 500m at the US Team Championships. 

David Creel

David received the Most Outstanding Swimmer Award in 1998, 1999, and 2000. In 2001 he recieved a Gold, Silver, and Bronze medal for Team BC at the Canada Games.  In 2002 he represented Team Canada at the World Open Water Championship.  In he received a Gold and two Silver Medals at the Canada West Swim Championship.

Christin Petelski

Christin is a former international breaststroke swimmer from Canada, who competed at two consecutive Summer Olympics starting in 1996 in Atlanta, Georgia. There she finished in eighth position in the 200 m Breaststroke, followed by a 10th (100 m) and 13th place (200 m) four years later in Sydney, Australia.
