Soren Thompson


 Soren Tompson was the 2001 NCAA Épée Champion,she finished 2nd in 2002, and 3rd in 2005. While attending Princeton, he received the William Winston Roper Trophy.  Thompson attended the 2004 Olympics, representing the USA.  He came in 7th place, however in one round defeated Alfredo Rota of Italy, the No. 1 ranked fencer in the world, at that time.  Thompson won a team sliver medal in the Maccabiah Games in 2005.  He currently represents the New York Athletic Club, and still trains at the Olympic Training Center, in Colorado Springs.
