Team Darfur is an independent blog about everyday health and wellbeing. We write plain-language guides on the things that come up across a life — pregnancy and new babies, children’s health, growing older, mental health, managing pain and long-term conditions, quitting smoking, and caring for someone else. A smaller strand looks at public and global health: vaccination, access to care, and health where it’s hardest to reach.
Information, not advice
Everything here is general health information to help you understand a topic and ask better questions. It is not medical advice, and it cannot account for your own history, medicines or circumstances. For anything to do with your own health, talk to a doctor, pharmacist or qualified clinician who knows your situation. If a problem is urgent, contact your local emergency service straight away.
Independent and unaffiliated
We are a reading site, not a clinic, a charity or a campaign. We don’t sell treatments, we aren’t affiliated with any organisation, and there’s nothing to join — reading is free, with no sign-up. Guides are written and edited by the Team Darfur editorial team, drawing on public health bodies and peer-reviewed sources.
